Ryder Cup Format

All Match Play
All Rounds Handicapped, Most are Even or Close to Even
Match Winner Earns One Point for Their Team, Match Ties Earn 1/2 Point for Each Team
12.5 Points Wins the Fairway Doctors Cup (Team Winkeler retains the Cup in the event Both Teams earn 12 points)

Morning Foursomes (Thursday and Friday Morning)

Modified Alternate Shot
Both players tee off each hole in no particular order, then choose the best drive
The team plays alternate shot from the best drive with the player who did not hit the chosed drive playing the second shot
Strategy - May take shorter tee shot in order to have better player hit second shot
50% Handicap per team - if Player One is 5 handicap and Player Two is 3 handicap, team handicap is 4.

Afternoon Four Ball (Thursday and Friday Afternoon)

2 Man Best Ball
Each player plays their own ball through to the hole, best individual score on hole counts as team score
85% Handicap for each player

Singles Matches (Saturday Morning)

Final Round is Singles Matches
85% Handicap for each player

Adjustment to USGA Rules

All hazards should be played as lateral hazards, aka stroke and distance
